Hi! My name is Boyuan Deng. I am a first-year Ph. D. student in Robotics at Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), advised by Nikos Tsagarakis. My research interests lie in robot learning, contact-rich task and online learning.
Previously, I was a Master student in Control Science at BeiJing Institute of Technology, advised by Prof. Jian Sun.

- [June, 2023]Joined Unitree Technology as an internship.
- Implemented MPC-based position, attitude, and velocity control for UAV.
- Developed a bionic fish to inspect underwater environments and avoid the risks of manual inspection. Utilized a camera for image acquisition and filtering, implemented pipeline cruising algorithms, and controlled the fish’s tail movement and steering using servos.
